The growth of China's civil aviation industry plays a pivotal role in driving the country's economic development. With domestic large aircraft entering large-scale production and the national "15th Five-Year Plan" emphasizing "new domains and new quality" productive forces, strong policy momentum has been injected into the aviation sector. China's civil aviation fleet has surpassed 4,000 aircraft and continues to grow rapidly, creating a massive and sustained market for aviation MRO and the aviation materials supply chain, while also imposing urgent demands for supply chain resilience, self-reliance in spare parts, and the digital and green transformation of maintenance technologies.

Against this backdrop, the 2026 China Civil Aviation Maintenance & Intelligent Manufacturing Exhibition, hosted by the Shanghai Society of Aeronautics, will be held from October 15–16, 2026 in Shanghai, China. Under the theme "Domestic Empowerment · Full-Chain Synergy · High-Quality Development", the event will focus on aviation maintenance technology innovation and green development, the significance of domestic substitutes in ensuring the security of the aviation materials supply chain, and topics such as the localization of aviation components and the certification of PMA parts.
